Sherry L. Mullins, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, age 59 and resident of Pulaski, VA went to her heavenly home on October 2, 2021 with her family by her side at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA.
Sherry was born on April 8, 1962, to Earnest and Dorothy Copley in Welch, WV. Sherry was a graduate of Baileysville High School and was a faithful employee of Walmart in Radford, VA for 21 years. Sherry married the love of her life, Lonnie Mullins, Jr. on August 1, 1986, and in a celebration of their love they had two boys, Derik Allen Mullins, and Brandon Carl Mullins. Sherry was a peacemaker, hardworking and gave her whole self to her family. She loved helping others, had an amazing giving heart, and was thoughtful, mindful, and caring to the needs of the people around her. Sherry was a dedicated grandmother to her little loves; her grandchildren, Arial, Jerimiah, Ryleigh, Nataliey and Cameron. She also loved her little dog, Baby. Sherry also made one heck of a cheeseburger and enjoyed loudly snacking on pork rinds and would laugh just as loud when you pointed it out. She also would never ever turn down a McDonalds coffee with a whole 14 creamers. Sherry, Mom, we love and miss you so much, and we will “see you in a few.”
Sherry is now rejoicing in heaven and celebrating her new body with those preceding her in death including her beloved father and mother, Earnest and Dorothy Copley, as well as brothers Lee and Toney Copley, and baby sister Tatasha Copley. Sherry is survived by her husband, Lonnie Mullins, Jr. of Pulaski, VA, and sons Derik Allen Mullins and wife Janice, and Brandon Carl Mullins and wife Beth of Pulaski, VA. She is survived by her sisters, Rita Lester of Huntersville, NC, Jackie Ellis and husband Darrell of Princeton, WV, brothers Jerry, and Ronald Copley of Northfork, WV, Paternal in-laws, Lonnie Sr and Linda Mullins; and brother and sister in law, Kenneth And Lisa Mullins; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
