Keri Michelle Billings

Keri Michelle Billings passed away unexpectedly on October 9, 2023, at the age of 32.  She was born on April 12, 1991, to Kim Waldron and Marlene Spencer.

Keri grew up in McDowell County, WV (Pageton) and attended Mt. View High School.  She later graduated from the certified medical assistant program at Valley College and was employed at Derm One Dermatology Care for the last 4 ½ years.

Keri had a great sense of humor and was intelligent and very sociable.  She was a beautiful person inside and out.  Her smile lit up every room she entered and could instantly boost your mood.  She practiced self-acceptance and overcame several major challenges in her young life.  She was very creative, and both her daughters have inherited all her wonderful attributes.  

Keri is predeceased in death by her father, Kim Waldron, her maternal grandmother Shirley Spencer and her uncle Michael Spencer.  She is survived by her two beautiful daughters, Seyona Renee Waldron and Hartley Saige Billings; her mother Marlene England (Ronnie) of Welch; grandfather, Jessie Spencer, Jr. of Pageton; sister, Kimberly Scott (Barry) of Welch; uncles, Jessie “Jay” Spencer (Katherine) of Tobaccoville, NC and Phillip Spencer (Lori) of Max Meadows, VA; several cousins and many friends.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home (3431 Coal Heritage Rd. Bluefield, WV 24701) on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at 2:00pm with Reverend Jim Blevins officiating.  Keri will be cremated so there will be no funeral or graveside service.
