Katherine Louise Lester

Katherine Louise Lester, 55, of Bluefield, WV passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Lewis-Gale Montgomery Hospital in Blacksburg, VA. Born May 19, 1967 in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of Elaine Hartwell Compton and the late Clarence Compton.

Survivors include her mother, Elaine Hartwell Compton; sons, Stephen Lester and Shawn Compton and wife, Cassie; daughter, Margaret Lester; and seven grandchildren.

In keeping with Katherine’s wishes, she will be cremated, and a memorial service will be scheduled later. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Lester family.
