On Saturday, March 12, 2022, Joseph Allen Omarrah was officially pronounced dead at 11:30 a.m. at Princeton Community Hospital, his death undetermined.

Joey was born on January 31, 1987 in Chicago, Illinois. He moved to Bluewell with his mom across from me the year of 2005, we fell in love and got marries July 6, 2006. He received his degree and his coal mining license and attended 3 different colleges.

He was a hard-working man and always had a smile on his face, he always provided for our family. Joey was not only admired by family but, also by friends.

Joey was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Deborah Omarrah sister, Tammy Omarrah, 4 uncles, 2 sisters, and his son Joey Allen Jr..

He is survived by his wife, Melinda Gayle Omarrah, his three children. Jazsmine S.N.L Omarrah, Ariane K.S.D Omarrah, Spencer B.J.C Omarrah; father, Edward Omarrah Sr.; brothers,  Michael, James, Bill, Edward Jr., and David Omarrah; sisters, Anna Marie Williams, Crystal Jared, Arlene Omarrah, Samantha Omarrah, and Bridget Hilger; Brother-in-laws, Harley Sisk and David Jared. Crystal and David Jared had Halie and Marcus Schmid, their daughter Emma Schmid, Alexus Jared, David Jared Jr., Lucy Jared. Also survived by his Father-in-law and Mother-in-law Jimmy Calvin and Kathern Sisk; uncle, Verlin. A. Clower Sr.; cousin Bernie Gills and his children. Laken Sisk and Harley Sisk has his nephew, Harley Calvin Sisk Jr. (Bubba-baby lee) Makynsley Cadence Sisk. Cousins, Brandon Perdue, Justin Perdue, C.J. Perdue, Carl Lonnie Perdue Jr., Carla Lymm Perdue, August Wyatt, Raven trump, Broke Perdue, Julian Jade Robertson, Michelle Smith, Emma Omarrah, Judy Weaver, Bernadette Ryan Perdue, and Wayne Perdue. Joey is also survived by many other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on March 19, 2022 at Cravens-Shires Funeral home from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. There will be no service, in keeping with Joey’s wishes he will be cremated.
