Cindy Lynn Hale Howerton Miller

Cindy Lynn Hale Howerton Miller, 59, of Welch, WV, formerly of Bluefield, WV, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021. Born October 12, 1961 in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of Linnie Hale Hammonds and Sidney Russell Hale, Sr.  Cindy was a member of the Moose and Eagles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kimmie Miller.

In addition to Cindy’s parents, those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jennifer Tate and husband, Justin of Rural Retreat, VA, and Jessica Howerton of Circleville, OH; son, Randy Miller Howerton of Virginia; sister, Jeannie Spence and husband, Eddie of Bluefield, WV; brothers, Sidney Russell Hale, Jr. of Springville, VA, and Karl Gene Hammonds, Jr. of Bluefield, WV; fiancé, James Crigger of the home; soon to be step-daughter, Angela Hanshaw and husband, Michael of Welch, WV; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Cowen officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
