Zenith Chilco, age 98, of Bluewell WV went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Christian Care in Princeton, WV.
She was born on March 25, 1919 in War, WV, she was a daughter of Oscar and Rosa Caves Byrd. She was a loving housewife and mother. She had been a resident of Bluewell WV for 67 years and prior to that lived in Bramwell WV. She was a member of the Bluewell United Methodist Church in Bluewell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Chilco, sons, Alvin Chilco and Michael Chilco and grandson LCpl Carl David Ratcliff, 6 brothers and 4 sisters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by her loving family, sons Ronnie Chilco and wife Heidi of Greensboro NC, William "Billy" Chilco and wife Peggy of Bluewell WV. Daughters Beverly Ratcliff and husband David of Bluewell, Paula Hall and husband Norman of Princeton WV, Daughter-in-law Linda Chilco of Eleanor WV and mom's special friend Marquita Croy of Princeton WV. Grandchildren: David Chilco{Patricia) of Liberty NC, Richard Chilco (Cindy) of Gastonia NC, Heather Kitts (Mark) of Bluewell WV, Michelle Workman (Doug) of Princeton WV, Wendy Cundiff (Jimbo) of Brushfork WV, Greg Ratcliff (Shannon) of Bluewell, WV, Eric Ratcliff (Janet) of Bluewell, WV, Amy Bishop (Justin) of Charleston SC, Jeffrey Webb of Beckley WV. Great Grandchildren: Andrew (Marina) Chilco, Jakob (Amanda) Chilco, Matthew Chilco, Mariah and Thomas Kitts, Brooke and Blake Cundiff, Emma Workman, Sarah and Alex Ratcliff and Airman 1st Class Christopher and Makayla Ratcliff. Step-Great Grandchildren: Savannah and Tucker, Olivia, Hailey and Dawson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services at 11:00 am on Monday March 5, 2018 at the Bluewell United Methodist Church in Bluewell with Reverend Melissa White officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where grandsons, and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 till 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 4th at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell and on Monday at the church, one hour prior to services.
