Wylie Raymond Hamilton

Wylie Raymond Hamilton, 71, of Hickory Ridge Road, Princeton, WV, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Born on January 11, 1950 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Wayne and Georgia Clark Hamilton. He had been a lifelong resident of Princeton and was a member of the Peace Valley Church in Princeton. He was retired from P.A.I.S.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, Blinda; brothers, Randal and Bill; and a sister, Laura Martin.

Survivors include his wife, Amanda Sparks Hamilton of the home; son, Chris (Ella) Hamilton of Princeton and Alex Hamilton of Princeton; step-daughter, Samantha Huffman of Princeton; grandchildren, Emily Hamilton (Wes Blake), Robin (Brandon) Browning, and Ryker Bishop; great grandchildren, Aubree Poindexter, Elijah Hamilton, Brantley Hylton, Madison Blake, Kamdyn Browning, and Breaden Blake.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Randall Shrewsbury officiating.  Following the service, Wylie will be cremated. 

Friends may call on Friday from 9:00-10:00 AM at the funeral home.
