Wilma Cox

Wilma Cox, cherished mother and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2024, in Princeton, surrounded by the warmth of her loved ones. Born on July 5, 1951, in Bluefield, Wilma's spirit was as bright and vibrant as the summer sun under which she arrived into this world.

Wilma was known for her sassy yet kind demeanor, a perfect blend that drew friends close and created an enduring circle of companionship. She had a unique ability to lift the spirits of those around her, making them feel valued and understood. Her laughter often echoed through the rooms she filled with her presence, and her wit left many in fits of giggles. Wilma loved her friends fiercely, and they, in turn, cherished her for the warmth and light she brought into their lives.

As a devoted mother, Wilma’s heart was a treasure trove of love for her son, Robert Rash. She took pride in nurturing him and offered unwavering support throughout his life. The bond they shared was a testament to her strength and dedication as a parent.

Wilma is survived by her son, Robert Rash, who will carry forward the legacy of love and kindness his mother instilled in him. She now joins her beloved mother, Alice Cox, and her dear son, Danny Rash, in eternal peace. The memory of Wilma's laughter, her sassy jokes, and her loving spirit will forever be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Her journey on this earth may have come to an end, but the impact she made will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, reminding us all of the beauty of a life deeply lived and profoundly loved. Wilma Cox will be missed beyond measure but celebrated for the joy she brought into our lives.
