William Ellis Glover

William Ellis Glover, 68, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021.  Born July 23, 1953 in North Tazewell, VA, he was a son of Betty Jo Patterson Glover and the late Omar Glover.  In addition to his father, William was preceded in death by a brother, Butch Glover.  William had been a resident of Bluefield, WV since 1998 and had retired from Kamatsu Equipment Company. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, canoeing, and woodworking in his spare time.

Those left to cherish William’s memory are his wife, Kathy Griffith Glover of the home; mother, Betty Jo Glover of Dixie Creek, VA; son, William Brown Glover and wife, Samantha of Beckley, WV; daughters, Lindsey Cox and Taylor Whitt, both of Bluefield, WV; brothers, Joseph Glover of Dixie Creek, VA, and Gary Glover of North Tazewell, VA; and 1 granddaughter, Ava Cox.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Friday, August 13, 2021 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the time of service.  In keeping with William’s wishes, he will be cremated following the service.  Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Glover family.
