William Edwin Coyer

William Edwin Coyer, 79, of Old Bramwell Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020 at Princeton Community Hospital.

Born on February 17, 1941 in McDowell County, he was a son of the late Carol and Della Coyer. He had been a resident of Bluefield since 1995 and was of the Christian faith. He was a graduate of Big Creek High School and was a veteran of the UA Air Force. He enjoyed gardening and going out with his daughters. He was a woodworker and enjoyed making furniture and clocks.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Flack Coyer; a son, Perry Coyer of NC; daughters, Ella Coyer of Bluefield, WV, and Linda (Christopher) Smith of Bluefield; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara Honaker of NC.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 11, 202 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.

Friends may call on Monday prior to services, from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home
