William Edward Carver, Sr.

William Edward Carver, Sr., 68, of Union Street Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Monday, December 09, 2019 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, West Virginia.

William was born on November 05, 1951 in Montcalm, West Virginia to the late Sherman Edward Carver and Iva Lee Tiller Carver. He had been a resident of Bluefield, West Virginia for the past seven years. He retired from Bluefield Regional Medical Center ground maintenance department.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Connie Coeburn and one brother Dexter Carver.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Deborah Green Carver of the home; two children, Son; Williams Carver, Jr., of Charleston, West Virginia and daughter; Christy Oliver and husband Mark of Bluefield, West Virginia. One brother; David Carver and wife Teresa of Bluefield, Virginia and half-bother; Elbert Jenkins and wife Jamie of Bluefield, West Virginia. Sisters; Frances Kade of Bluewell, West Virginia, Shelia Auton and husband Larry of Duhring, West Virginia. Three grandchildren; Kelsey Lawson and Husband Walker, Kevin Carver and fiancé Emily Dobson and Brady Brown and wife Josie.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 10:30 am at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Rev. Jonathan Riggins officiating the service. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia where friends and family will be serving as pallbearers.

The Carver family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 9:30am until 10:30am at the funeral home.
