Wendell Kent Russell, Jr.

Wendell Kent Russell, Jr., 33, of Jerico Lane, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.

Born on July 27, 1984 in Bluefield. He had been a lifelong resident of McDowell County and was a welder and fabricator by trade.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Russell.

Fiancé: Ashley Roark of Bluefield

Step-brother: Timothy Pinter, II of Princeton

Mabel Muncy of Caretta

Several aunts and uncles

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 1:00PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. David Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
