Wanda Hoback Ferguson

Wanda Hoback Ferguson, 71, of Wright Road Thomasville, North Carolina formerly of Anawalt, West Virginia passed away Sunday, August 06, 2017 at Forsythe Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Wanda was born on May 27, 1946 in McDowell County, West Virginia to the late William Hoback and Mildred Rose Wooldridge. She had been a resident of North Carolina for the past twenty three years and attended the Salvation Army Corps in North Carolina. Wanda was retired from Carson’s Furniture in High Point, NC. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.Survivors include three sons Thomas Martin, Jr. of Monroe County, West Virginia; Tracey Martin of Monroe County, West Virginia and Stephen Ferguson of Thomasville, North Carolina. Two daughters Kimberly Trent of Thomasville, North Carolina and Cassandra Martin of Thomasville, North Carolina. Two brothers Bobby Hoback of Columbus, Ohio and Kenneth Hicks of Sonoma, California and one sister Sue Coley of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 09, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with Rev. Mike Smith officiating the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia where family will be serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, August 09, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
