Wanda Lee Burton

On Thursday, January 11, 2018, our precious sister, Wanda Lee Whited Burton, was called home by her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her loving family at Princeton Community Hospital.

Born August 19, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Garnet Whited and Ettie Irene Coeburn Whited. Wanda was a graduate of Graham High School and was employed by the BP in Bastian, Virginia until her illness.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ronnie Burton, her brothers, William G. Whited and Wade J. Whited, her niece Angie Barbee and her father and mother-in-law, Junior and Lucille Burton.

Survivors include her sisters: Ellen Rutledge of Princeton, WV; Alice and Walter Greene of Stanfield, North Carolina; Judy and Donnie Bailey of Princeton, WV and her brother, Larry and Debbie Whited of Bluefield, WV, her sister-in-law Diane and Ronnie Jackson; nieces and nephews: Amy Newberry, Teresa Lewis; Billy ( Hannah) Greene; David( Hannah) Whited; B.J. (Amanda) Whited; and Josh (Jenny) Hale. Wanda cherished her great nieces and nephews: Cody Barbee, Josie Hale, Zachary (Amy) Sayers, Cody Sayers, Cortni Sayers, Annalise Greene, Haley Newberry, Hannah Newberry, Ryan Stamper, Alyssa Whited, Tristan Whited, Juliana Whited, and Matthias Whited.

Funeral services will be held at Craven Shires Funeral Home on Sunday, January 14, 2018 beginning at 2:00 p.m. 

Friends will be received Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Craven Shires Funeral Home, Bluewell, West Virginia, from 12:00 pm (Noon) until 2:00 p.m.
