Walter Floyd Harmon

Walter Floyd Harmon, age 84, of Browning Lambert Mountain, Rock, WV died on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at his residence.

Born on February 25, 1935, in McDowell County, he was a son of the late John and Barbara Ellen Mosley Harmon. He had lived around Rock for most of his life and was a retired truck driver. He was a UMWA member and was a veteran of the US Marines. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Gladys Taylor and husband Benny of Bastian, VA

Funeral services will be held at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell on Thursday evening, May 23, 2019 at 7:00 PM with Rev. C.T. Lilly III officiating. Entombment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton. Friends may call from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
