Virginia Lee Shinault

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Virginia Lee Shinault (Taylor), who passed away on July 3, 2024 at the age of 84. 

Born on June 22, 1940 in Bluefield, WV. She was a dedicated wife to her late husband Gene Shinault and a devoted and loving mother to her children. Sons Herbert and Daniel and Daughter Tina. She loved and nurtured numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. 

She lived a fulfilling life and was a woman of many talents. She enjoyed Bible study, bird watching and spending time with her family. 

Virginia was a kind and generous soul, always putting other’s needs before her own. Her love and compassion extended to all those who knew her, and she will be remembered for her infectious smile and warm personality. 

She is survived by her children Herbert Shinault and spouse Mary T Shinault. Daughter Tina (Shinault) Garret and spouse Jeffery Garrett. Sisters Rebecca and Nita. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. 

Graveside services will be on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating.
