Virginia Dana Bailey

Virginia Dana Bailey, age 93, of Princeton Health Care died on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Princeton Health Care.

Born on September 27, 1924, in Crumpler, WV, she was a daughter of the late Curtis and Mary Shrewsbury Reed. She was a retired school teacher’s Aid and was a member of the Brushfork First Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Owen Bailey; 5 brothers, Harold, Junior, Randall, Leonard, and Donald Reed; and a sister, Delma Jennings.

Daughter: Regina Brewster and husband Richard of Bluefield, VA

Sisters: Dorothy Harrison of Opp,AL
Ethel Asbury of Martinsburg, VA

Grandchild: Lisa Morr

Great-grandchildren: Justin Bailey, Monika and Rebecca Rhoades, and Tony Morr

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Jim Russ officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA. Her family will be serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Friday from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service
