Tommy Ray Brown

Tommy Ray Brown, 62, of Maple Acres Road Princeton, West Virginia passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Princeton Community Hospital.
Tommy was born on March 25, 1956 in Welch, West Virginia to Dorothy Day Brown Lane and the late Junior Brown. Tommy was a retired coal miner and a member of the UMWA. He had been a resident of Princeton area for the past thirty years.
In addition to Tommy’s father he was preceded in death by his nephew Donnie Sizemore, Father and Mother in law Marshall and Violet Pinter as well as several aunts and uncles.
Tommy is survived by his wife Marsha Pinter Brown of the home; two daughters Tammy Brown Robinson and husband Larry of Northfork, West Virginia and Angela Brown Smith and husband Jimil of Bluefield, West Virginia. His mother and step-father Dorothy Lane and husband Tracy of Rock, West Virginia; Five brothers Darrell Brown and wife Kathy of Bluefield, Virginia, Johnny Brown and wife Patricia of Bluefield, West Virginia, Stewart Brown and Lois of Bluefield, Virginia, Junior Brown II and wife Joyce of Bluefield, West Virginia and Herman Sizemore and wife Krista of Rock, West Virginia. One sister Brenda Anderson and husband Rick of Mt. Airy, North Carolina. He is also survived by four grandchildren Jaisah Smith, Jase Smith, Cameron Brown Robinson and Jayleigh Smith.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, West Virginia with Pastor David Kirby officiating the service. Burial will follow a Woodlawn Memorial Park with family and friends serving as pallbearers and Darrell Brown as honorary pallbearer.
The Brown family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
