Timothy Allen Pinter, 54. of Bluefield, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, August 28, 2022.
Tim was born July 1, 1968, raised in Welch and was a son of the late David Marshall Pinter and Violet Quesada Pinter. He was a graduate of Mt. View High School and received a scholarship to Hobart Institute of Welding Technology. After completion he became a welder, fabricator and certified welding inspector. Tim had a passion for motorcycles and drag racing which grew into Pinter & Pinter Racing. A race family for many years, Tim won many championships over the years as a top eliminator racer throughout the southeast on the SCRA circuit.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John David Pinter and a son, Wendell Russell, Jr.
Tim is survived by his wife Robin Reed Pinter of the home; a son, Timothy Pinter, II of Princeton; a sister, Marsha Pinter Brown of Princeton and spouse Ray Shrum of Florida.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 1:30 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Pastor Jim Tunnell officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Wednesday prior to services, from 12:30-1:30 PM, at the funeral home.
