Timothy Jones

Timothy Leroy Jones, 64, of Bluefield, WV, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023.

Born on July 26, 1958, in Bluefield, he was a son of Elizabeth “Libby” Riggs Jones and the late Billy Jones. He had been a resident of Bluefield since 1979 and had worked for the Board of Education.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Roma Jones; and maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Rachel Riggs.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Patricia “Patty” Lynch Jones of the home; 2 sons, Timothy Jason Jones  and Jeremy Lee Jones and wife Beth; and a grandson, Jackson Thomas Jones.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial  Park in Bluewell.

Friends may call prior to services, from 1-2PM on Friday at the funeral home.
