BLUEFIELD, WEST VIRGINIA - Thelma Mae Miller Sizemore, 89, passed away to be with her Lord and Savior and her husband on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Mercer Nursing Home after a long battle with Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
She was born in South Charleston, West Virginia, daughter of the late Archie and Crystal Pearl Grubbs Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Thomas “T. L.” Sizemore on May 25, 2002; one daughter, Crystal L. Hodges; two grandsons, Jonathan Isaac Sizemore, and John Thomas “J. T.” Bentley; five brothers, Raymond N. Miller, James E. Miller, Dale J. Miller, Jerry W. Miller, and Harry M. Miller; and three sisters, Virginia L. Harrison, Mildred M. Miller, and Janett M. Miller.
She is survived by three daughters, Thelma L. Keene of Raysal, West Virginia, Anita D. Bentley and husband, Danny of Castlewood, Virginia, and Stephanie A. Sizemore of Bluefield, West Virginia; one son, Thomas E. Sizemore and wife, Melinda of Pleasant Garden, North Carolina; two brothers, Archie Gene Miller and wife, Freda of St. Albans, West Virginia, and Donald K. Miller of South Charleston, West Virginia; seven grandsons; five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Grandview Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Bluefield, VA. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the mausoleum chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1601 2nd Avenue, Charleston, West Virginia 25387 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 504 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
