Thelma “Betty” Brown, 87, of Marellen Avenue, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Princeton Community Hospital.
Born on January 29, 1931 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Luther Irving and Aneita Englar Jourdan. She had been a resident of Bluefield for 40 years and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Cumberland Road Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Brown, Sr., a brother, Luther “Boots” Jourdan and sisters, Jean Sturgill and Doris Thompson.

William “Billy” (Patti) Brown of Princeton
Grandchildren: Hope Walker, Jenni Nuckols, Megan Brown, Ashley Brown, Venessa Agee, John Agee, Jason Agee, Travis Agee, Robert “Trey” Brown, III, Bradley Brown, and Matthew Wagner
13 great-grandchildren

Sister: Susan Dolinger of Mouth of Wilson, VA
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 2:00PM at the Cumberland Road Church of God in Bluefield with Rev. Jackson Brown and Pastor Mike York officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Bluefield, VA where grandsons and great grandson will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Monday from 1:00-2:00 at the church.
