Teresa Renee O'Neal

Teresa Renee O’Neal, 52, of Skygusty, WV, passed on June 26, 2023, at McDowell Healthcare Center.

Born on January 17, 1971, in Welch, WV, she was the daughter of Myrtle Miller Bailey and the (late) Clarence Leroy Scarborough Jr. She was a life-long resident of Skygusty and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Survivors include her daughter, Traci Walters and fiancé Douglas Green of Skygusty, WV ; Her two grandchildren who were her whole world Harper and Keegan Green of Skygusty, WV; step son Joseph O'Neal and wife Skylar of Northfork, WV; mother, Myrtle Miller Bailey of Bluefield, WV; one brother, Michael Scarborough and companion Delbert Kiser of Iaeger, WV ;  four sisters, Gladys Edwards and husband Phillip of Bluefield, WV, Sherri Walters and husband Gary of Tazewell, VA;  Barbie Camp and husband Dewey of Skygusty, WV ; and Sandra Greer of Anawalt, WV and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Teresa’s wishes, she will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at Skygusty Church of Jesus Christ Thursday (June 29th, 2023) at 4:30 P.M. Family and Friends may visit between the hours of 3:00-6:00 PM.

The family would also like to thank Select Specialty Rehab of Morgantown, Glenville Center, and Mcdowell Healthcare Center for their outstanding care, compassion, and support.
