Tena Louise Havens

Heaven gained an Angel, Tena Louise Havens, 51, of Skating Rink Hollow Road Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Princeton Community Hospital after a long battle with cancer.

Tena was born on September 11, 1967 in Bluefield, West Virginia to Marline Ellison Basham of Montcalm, West Virginia and the late Dubbie Wimmer. Tena was a lifelong resident of Bluefield, West Virginia and was a Graduate of Montcalm High School; was the owner operator of MC Hair Design in Bluewell, West Virginia for the past thirty years; where she loved making people beautiful in Tena’s own special way. Tena loved camping and especially trips to the beach and supporting the Montcalm Generals.  

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Hazel Pazinni.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Robert “Smokey” Havens of the home; one son, Robert “Budgee” Havens, III of Bluewell, West Virginia; one daughter, Danielle Havens of the home; her mother, Marline Ellison Basham of Montcalm, West Virginia; One brother, Randy Basham and wife Sarah of Hendersonville, Tennessee; two beloved grandchildren Eithan and Tucker Havens. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.  

Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Pastor David Kirby officiating the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia with Scottie Havens, Willie Daniels, Brandon Daniels, Darren Hartwell, Matt Simpson, Ralph Munsey, Chad Daniels and Allen White serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Havens, Tracy Havens and Roy Spaulding.

The Havens family will receive friends and relative on Monday, June 24, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
