Steven Wayne Privett

Steven Wayne Privett, age 51, of Bluefield, WV passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born on October 8, 1968, in Princeton, WV, he was the son of Nancy Day Privett of Bluefield and the late Charles Junior Privett. He worked in construction as a brick mason. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Steven Gregory Privett;  grandparents, Charlie and Opal Privett and Frank and Sofa Day; and siblings, Charles David Privett and Barbara Privett.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Nancy Day; daughter, Kimberly Privett-Romeo and husband Tyler Romeo; grandson, Easton Romeo; and another grandson waiting to be born in September of 2020. He is also survived by nephews, Charles Jason Privett and Billy Privett; a niece, Rebecca Stone;  an aunt, Rosie Robinett; and ex-wife Anne Lopinsky.

Following Stevens’s wishes, he will be cremated and no memorial services will be held. Instead, a dinner will be held in his honor at the home of is mother Nancy Privett, on Sandlick Road at 4:00 PM on Sunday August 2, 2020. Friends and family are all welcome to attend and stay as long as they please.
