Stella Gilley Dills Bell

Stella Gilley Dills Bell, 93, of Bluefield, WV went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 11, 2021. Born September 26, 1927 in Chilhowie, VA, she was the daughter of the late James Gilley and Rosa Eldridge Gilley.

Stella was the most loving, caring person you could ever meet.  Her home was always open to her family and friends. She loved the Lord with all her heart and did her best to convey His love to all she met.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Dills, and her second husband, Paul Bell; brothers, Jimmy Gilley, Joe Gilley, and Thomas Gilley.

Left to cherish he memory are her siblings, Rindo Lilly, Dewey Gilley and wife, Ahn, Roger Gilley and wife, Christine, and her children, Judy Popp and husband, Steve J., Patti Legg and husband, Tony, Rosa Moody and husband, Tim, and son, Richard Bell.  In addition, she is survived by two grandsons who were her love and light, Steve C. Popp and wife, Kelli, and Michael Moody; and two great-granddaughters, Megan Popp and Erika Popp.  She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews that she loved as her own.

Stella spent the last years of her life at Maples Healthcare.  The family wishes to thank the staff there for their care and devotion.  She was truly loved by them all.

There will be no service at this time.  A celebration of her life will be held at a later time.
