Stanley Matusevich, Jr. 95, of Lorton Lick Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Charleston Area Medical Center. Born on June 27, 1922 in Sagamore, he was a son of the late Stanley Matusevich, Sr. and Mary Proco Matusevich. He had been a resident of the Bluefield area for all of his life and was retired from Joy Manufacturing as a mechanic. He was a World War II Navy Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Macie Helen Browning Matusevich; and a brother, Johnny Matusevich. Survivors include: son, Mike Matusevich and wife Beverly of Bluefield; 2 granddaughters, Mary Beth Matusevich and Barbara Ann Perkins; 1 great grandson, Nick Frye; and 2 sisters, Kathern Perkins of Princeton and Sylvia Garvie of OK. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 2:00PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. James Milam officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Friends may call prior to services on Tuesday, from 1:00-2:00PM at the funeral home.
