Sidney Gerald Jennings

Sidney Gerald Jennings, 79, of Montcalm, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Maples Nursing Home in Bluefield. Born on June 11, 1938 in Weynoke, WV, he was a son of the late James Hobart and nannie Bell Groves Jennings. He had been a lifelong resident of Montcalm and McComas and attended the Church of God. He was retired from the City of Bluefield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dottie Epperson Jennings; 10 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors include: Sister:   Louise Hodge of Brushfork Brothers:             Ray Jennings of Montcalm Walter Jennings of McComas Billy Wayne Jennings of Morgantown.   Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Eddie Mabe officiating. Burial will follow at the Jennings family Cemetery in Matoaka.
