Shirley Mae Rose Lucado of Montcalm, WV left this earth for her heavenly home on February 21, 2021 at the age of 83.
She was born on April 8, 1937 in Roderfield, WV to her late parents Jesse Henry and Pauline Pennington Rose. She was of the Christian faith, a long‐time member of the Montcalm Church of God and a retired school bus driver for Mercer County School System.
Also preceding her in death were brothers Alva Wayne Rose, James Ralph Rose, Jesse Eugene Rose, and Edward Lee Rose and sister Glenda Sue O’Dell.
Surviving are her children Kathy St. Clair and husband Monty of Abingdon, VA, Lyndon (Dale) Lucado and wife Melissa of Bluefield, WV and Pamela Lucado of Princeton, WV; granddaughters Sarah St. Clair Perry and husband Joe of Blountville, TN, Olivia Lucado of Bluefield, WV, and Caitlyn Lucado and finance James Huntley of Bluefield WV; and great‐grandson Carson Lucado. She is also survived by sister Delia Darlene Rose of Round O, SC, special nephew Robert Eugene Rose of Rock, WV and a host of other relatives and close friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens‐Shires Funeral Home chapel in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Ryan Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV with Joe Perry, James Huntley, Robert Rose, Kenneth Agee, Jimmy Perkins, and Lonnie Pennington serving as pallbearers.
Friends may call one hour prior to services on Friday, from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
