Shirley Louise Harman

Shirley Louise Harman of White Birch Lane, Bluefield WV passed away April 14, 2017 in St Joseph, MO surrounded by her children. Born April 22, 1940, she was a daughter of John and Cora Beckner. She was preceded in death her husband David M. Harman. Shirley was a homemaker and a loving Mother.  She was employed by the Mercer County Board of Education as a cook until her retirement. Survivors include her sister, Ruby Davidson, of FL; daughter Tina Harman of Princeton, daughter Michele Colley and husband Kevin of Bluefield, daughter Toni Sadler and husband Brian of St. Joseph, MO, grandchildren, Micah Harman, Zoe and Erika Colley, Aaron and Greyson Sadler, and great grandson, Hunter Harman. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, WV with Rev. Sherman Duncan officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV where family and friends will be serving as pallbearers. The Harman family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
