Shirley M. Eller

Shirley M. Eller, age 83, of Beltsville, MD, formerly of Bluewell, died on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Laurel Regional Hospital.Born on April 17, 1934 in McComas, WV, she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Annie L. Gillenwater Eller. She had lived in Beltsville for the past 60 years and was retired from Bell-Atlantic and Frontier Telephone Companies. She started her career as a switchboard operator and wound up her career collecting money from payphones. She was also an Avon Salesperson for 50 years. She attended the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Beltsville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 9 siblings, Charles Eller, Fred Eller, Jimmy Eller, Paul Eller, Linda Eller, Marie Mallory, Sue Dill, Jean Bates and JoAnn Howell. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.Survivors include: Sister-in-Laws: Edna Barlow and Patty Eller of Bluewell Wanda Muncey of MichiganBrother-in-Law: Harry Mallory of DunbarSpecial Caregiver: Charlotte Kutyba of Beltsville, MDShe is also survived by several nieces and nephewsFuneral services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Melissa White officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Mausoleum in Bluewell. Friends may call on Tuesday from 12:00 – 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
