Shirley Sue Constantino

Shirley Sue Ferrell Constantino, age 85, of Princeton, WV, formerly of Northfork, passed away on October 25, 2020 at Glenwood Park Nursing Facility. She was born in Twinbranch, WV on January 18, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Flora and Embry Ferrell.

Sue was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was active in her church, Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Powhatan, WV serving as president of the Women’s Guild and the CCD as well as a devoted member of the church choir. She was active in her community as a Red Cross Volunteer during blood drives. Sue was a proud member of the Northfork Big Orange High School majorette team. She enjoyed crafting and her grandchildren.

Surviving is her sister Joy Formica of Bluefield, WV and sister-in-law Angel Constantino of Princeton, WV. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Joe Constantino of Princeton, her siblings Betty Compton, Billy Ferrell, and Carlos “Doodie” Ferrell.

Also surviving are Joe and Sue’s children: Roxana (Noah) Van Blaricom, Susan (Paul) Rice, Becky (Carman) Liuzzo, Sam (Kathy) Constantino, Joe (Rhonda) Constantino and Melissa (late Jon) Parsons. As well as their grandchildren: Crystal (Tyler), Morgan (Josh), Erin, Tyler, Emily, CJ, Stacy, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Jenna, and Julia. Also surviving are great-grandchildren Cash and Claire.

A private mass of Christian Burial will be held for the family at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Powhatan, WV with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV. Father Binny Mulackal will officiate.
