Shirley Virginia Cline

Shirley Virginia Cline, 84, formerly of McDowell County, WV, and Monroe County, WV, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at the home of her daughter in Princeton, WV.  Born January 26, 1936 in McDowell County, Shirley was a daughter of the late Alfred and Alma Hunt Lester.  She was a retired custodian and attended the Peterstown Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Herman L. Cline and one son, Herman "Buck" Cline, Jr.

Those left to cherish Shirley’s memory are her daughter, Johnnie Blankenship and husband, Joey of Princeton, WV; daughter-in-law, Brenda Cline of Peterstown, WV; several brothers and sisters; and 1 granddaughter, Brittany Morgan.

Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Steve Roberts officiating.  Entombment will follow at the Woodlawn Mausoleum where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
