Sherry Lynn Boyd

Sherry Boyd, 61, of Bluefield, WV passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Princeton Community Hospital after a long battle with kidney disease.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ethel and Wilford; husband, Everett “Butch” Boyd; one brother and one sister; and long time partner Freddie Rhodes.

Left to cherish Sherry’s memory are daughters, Molly England and husband, Stacy; Misty Boyd and husband, Alex Codd; step-son, Darrell Boyd of Hilltop; goddaughters, Samantha and Allison Farmer; grandchildren, Maci and Ben England who were her pride and joy; she also leaves behind two brothers and three sisters and a group of special friends at Open Heart Ministries; also Hazel Farmer and Susan Fowler who were like her sisters.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 A.M Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lusk Family Cemetery, Lusk Settlement Road, Wyoming County, where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Donations will be accepted at the funeral home to help the family with the cost of services.
