Shelby Jean Nichols, 81, of Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Glenwood Nursing Home.
Shelby was born on December 24, 1937 in McComas, West Virginia to the late Charles Blake Farley and Georgie May Medwell Farley. She was a member of the Church of God Worldwide Ministries.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Nichols; two children a infant son; and son Bobby Nichols and grandson Eric.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, David Nichols and wife Betty of Bland, Virginia, Eric Nichols and wife Lee of Winlock, Washington, Gary Nichols and wife Rosie of Princeton, West Virginia, Charles Nichols and wife Rebecca of Ballard, West Virginia, Jonathan Nichols and wife Michelle of Yuma, Arizona and Shawn Nichols and wife Leslie of Bluefield, West Virginia. Daughter Nancy Nichols-Andrews and husband Kenny of Castle Rock, Washington. One brother Roy Farley of Bluefield, West Virginia; two sisters Judy Soto of Los Angeles, California and Mary Cleveland of Crandall, Georgia. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Graveside service will be held at The East Family Cemetery on Windmill Gap, West Virginia on Monday, September 09, 2019 at 1:00 pm with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
