Sharon Kirby

Sharon Y. Kirby, 65 of Bluefield, Va passed away on October 13 at home surrounded by her family.  She fought a good fight; she finished her course, and she kept the faith.  She is now resting in the arms of Jesus.  She was a faithful member of Deliverance Temple Church.

Anyone who knew Sharon loved her. She was full of life and always had you laughing.  She worked for the State of West Virginia at Work Force for many years.  She then worked for the Viriginia Board of Education and retired in June.

She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond (Bud) Roten.

She is survived by her husband Randall of 45 years. Randall was not only the love of her life but also her best friend.  Mother Ailene Clark, husband Jess.  Sister Shelia Carroll and brother Jason Roten.  She was loved by her nieces and nephews, who she treated as her own children.  Sharon had a special friend Sherry Brown for approximately 40 years.  

Randall would like to thank the Blue Ridge Cancer Center and Hospice for their compassion and care that they shown Sharon.  

In keeping with her wishes there will be no services.
