Sharon Cook

Sharon Joyce Cook, 68, of Welch, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Charleston Area Medical Center.

Born on March 3, 1950 in Wyoming County, she was a daughter of the late Wilson and Georgia walls Morgan. She had been a resident of Welch for 48 years and was a member of the North Welch Church of God where she belonged to the ladies Fellowship.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Cook; and 5 brothers.

Survivors include:

Son: Johnny (Stephanie) Cook of Welch

Daughter: Sherry (Virgil) Underwood of Princeton

4 brothers: Densel (Karen) Morgan of Welch
Vincent (Linda) Morgan of High Point, NC
Larry (Julia) Morgan of high Point, NC
Nelson (Sue) Morgan of High Point, NC

6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Scott Long officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell with grandsons serving as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Saturday from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
