Seth Benjamin Peters, 45, of Brierfield Farm Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born on June 25, 1972 in Bluefield, he was a son of Vivian Peters and the late Ronald Barry Peters. He was a graduate of Bluefield High School, where he played football for the Beavers. He found success as the former owner and operator of First Service Mechanical in Greensboro, NC. However, his true passion for building and his desire to open a one of a kind restaurant in his hometown led him to design an authentic, genuine family friendly ATV resort. His vision became reality in 2014 when he, along with his family, opened Buffalo Trail Cabins and Restaurant. Seth’s love for Buffalo Trail can easily be seen in the attention to detail that he gave to the cabins, treehouses and restaurant. He equally treasured his employees and customers. He was always eager to visit and interact throughout the restaurant and grounds. Because of Seth’s vision and the creation of Buffalo Trail, the Hatfield-McCoy Trail and tourism in Mercer County is thriving.
