Sergio Daniel Castillo

Sergio Daniel Castillo, 62, of Ivy Crest Street Bluefield, West Virginia (Green Valley) passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, West Virginia. Sergio was born on July 21, 1955 in Monterrey, Mexico to the late Perfecto Castillo and Rosa Barajas Castillo. Sergio had been a resident of Bluefield for the past 28 years and attended the Sweet Home Baptist Church. He worked as a ground keeper for the West Virginia Parks Department. Survivors include his three children Albert Castillo of Bluefield, West Virginia, Robert Castillo of Huntington, West Virginia and Daniela Castillo of Bluefield, West Virginia. Two brothers Mario Castillo of Glen Lyn, Virginia and Becko Castillo and wife Virginia of Peterstown, West Virginia. He is also survived by his former wife and caretaker Norma Castillo of Bluefield, West Virginia as well as his sisters still residing in Mexico and a host of nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton, West Virginia with Pastor Willard Ramsey officiating the service. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the Cemetery by 2:30 p.m.The Castillo family will be receiving friends and relatives on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, West Virginia.
