Sandra Kay Thomason

Sandra Kay Thomason, 66, of Hickory, North Carolina formerly of Crystal, West Virginia passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, November 16, 2018.
Sandra was born on January 17, 1952 in Bluefield, West Virginia to the late William Fletcher Thomason Jr. and Ethel Beatrice Belcher Thomason. She was so precious to her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also loved to color and watch game shows.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents Jack and Carrie Belcher and William and Laura Thomason, Sisters Nancy Thomason and Kathy Eddins, Brother Dennis (Danny) Thomason.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister Linda Hamm and husband Frank with whom she made her home of Hickory, North Carolina, sister in law Mardella Thomason of Rock, West Virginia; nieces Shelia Hilderbran and husband Ronnie, Heather Brendle and husband Fred, Crystal Thomason, Danielle Hicks and husband Ronnie and Sheri Ortiz. Nephews Dale Brown and wife Tracy, Dennis Thomason Jr, Keith Hamm and wife Amber and Scott Hamm. Sandra has several great nieces and nephews whom all adored her.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, WV with Dr. Douglas Hyndrich officiating the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV where friends and family serving as pallbearers.
The Thomason family will receive friends and family on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
