Sandra Kay Seay

Sandra Kay Seay, 70, of Princeton formerly of Mt. Holly, NC, earned her heavenly wings on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Princeton Community Hospital.

Sandra was born on May 3, 1950 in McDowell County, WV, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Stella Lester. She retired as a nurse at Woodlawn Haven Rest Home in NC. Upon retirement, she moved back to her mountain home which she loved. She was a loving mother, mawmaw, nana, sister, and aunt. She was adored by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Hassel Lester; 2 infant daughters; sister in law, Ruth Lester; and the father of her children, Andy Seay.

Those left to cherish her memories include; sons, Lee Seay of NC, Andy Seay and fiancé Crystal of Bluefield; brothers, John Lester and wife Lorraine of Princeton, Frank Lester of CA; sisters in law, Sis Lester of NC; grandchildren, Gracie, Jordan, Matthew, of NC, and Emily of Beckley; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, special friends including Dr. Kirkpatrick, Harold Wells and her beloved babydoll, Mercedes.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Omar Burns and Brother Woody Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call prior to services, from 12:00-1:00 PM at the funeral home.
