Sandra "Kay" Lacy

Sandra “Kay” Stanton Lacy, 56, of Bluewell, WV, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Born on June 22, 1965 in Morningside, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Gene and Willie Mae Walker Stanton. She attended Coaldale Freewill Baptist Church and had been a resident of Bluewell for the past thirty years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Stanton and a sister, Elizabeth.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Timothy Lacy of the home; son, David Lacy (Mylene) of Lashmeet; daughter, Kandice Lacy of Bluewell; grandchildren, Ariana Amaker, Amiya Amaker, Adalaya Amaker, Shawn England, and Clay England; brothers, Carl Stanton, John Stanton, Gene Stanton, and Mike Stanton; sisters, Millie Proffitt, Debbie Dalton, and Brenda Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Agee and Rev. Ralph Steele officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens where David Lacy, Matthew Lacy, Travis Lacy, Richard Harvey, Roger Lacy, Jr., and Carl Stanton will serve as pallbearers.
