Sandra Elaine Boyer Lane

Sandra Elaine Boyer Lane, 77, of Power House Road Gary, West Virginia passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Sandra was born on July 22, 1942 in McDowell County, West Virginia to the late Walter Anderson Boyer and Susie Ann David Boyer. She had been a lifelong resident of Gary, West Virginia and was retired from US Steel as Secretary.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles D. Lane; Five brothers Haley, Calvin, Richard, Wayne and Lonnie Boyer.

Survived by her daughter Carla Roope and husband Greg of Filbert, West Virginia; one brother Walter Anderson Boyer Jr., of Gary, West Virginia and special friend and caregiver Stephanie Ann Music of Skygusty, West Virginia Two grandchildren Stephanie Carbaugh and Beth Baker and Seven great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 01, 2019 at 11:00am at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, West Virginia with Rev. Virgil Green officiating the service. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluefield, West Virginia where friends and family will be serving as pallbearers.

The Lane family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, November 01, 2019 from 10:00am until 11:00am at the funeral home.
