In Loving Memory of Sandra "Sandy" Blevins, 73, of Packing Plant Road (Bluewell), Bluefield, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 at her home.

Born June 28 1945, the world became a better place that day. She went dancing off to the stars on 25 March 2019. She was a lifelong resident of Bluewell.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Stevenson & Lillian Evans Stevenson Fouse, 3 brothers Harold Sonny Stevenson, Johnny Stevenson and James Fouse, in-laws Charles Blevins and Edna Blevins. She loved you Moggie, (DANCE with her through the stars), in-laws James Blevins & Janice & Nelson Pickett.

Wife to Roger "Pistol" Blevins for 50 yrs. who she loved with her heart and soul. Mother to many and lover of life, Super Strong, Warrior Woman with the awesome power of unconditional love. Survivors include a sister Rita and Ronnie Short of Mocksville, NC, Brothers William Ray Stevenson, of Martinsvillle & James Hess of Bluefield, VA. Three daughters, Tina Blevins & friend Buck Polly of Gibsonville NC, Gina Bolt and Charlie of Bluewell WV, Niki Stiltner of the home & fiance, Eric Swartz. 9 Grand kids whom she loved so much, "JR" James Farmer & Ann, Laura & Roscoe Farmer, Savanna Stiltner & Joseph Avery, Amy & Jacob Stiltner, Emily Smith & Austin Roos, Shawn Bolt, Arleena Bolt and Josselyn Blevins, Davinci LIllian Farmer, 7 Great grandkids had a special place in her heart that made her smile with delight, Jason ,Mathew & Jacob Kinser, Waylon Farmer, Olivia Nova Avery, Elizabeth Marie Stiltner, & Lucas Roos. In-laws Polly Blevins, Nancy York, Wayne & Pat Blevins, and special friend Christine Finley & many more.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 29, 2019 at 1:00PM at Cravens-Shires with Minister Jack Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the Shillings Cemetery on Browning Lambert Mountain in Rock. Please bring your favorite Sandy story with you & help us celebrate her life.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
