Ruby Irene Mills

Ruby Irene Perkins Mills, 91, of Tabernacle Hill, Montcalm, WV, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020 at the home of her daughter in Princeton.

Born on November 8, 1928 in Crystal, she was a daughter of the late Albert C. and Georgia A. Belcher Perkins. She had been a resident of Montcalm for 60 years and was a member of Mowles Chapel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Basil D. Mills, a son, Markus Cain Mills; sisters, Kathleen Hartwell Anderson, Gladys Perkins, and Barbara Gentry; brothers, Sylvester Perkins, Darrell Perkins, Oscar Perkins, Kenneth Perkins, and Arthur Perkins.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Patricia (Jack) Sudderth of Princeton, Dewey (Virginia) Mills of Princeton, Calvin (Mary) Mills of Montcalm, and Gary (Becky) Mills of Orange, VA; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Thursday from 9:00-11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell.
