Ronald Lee Riggs

Ronald Lee Riggs, 52, of Cedar Street, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Appalachian Regional Medical Center in Beckley. Born on August 7, 1968 in Bluefield, he was a son of Patricia Fitzko of Bluefield and the late Donald Wilbur Riggs. He was a transportation driver for the railroad. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, sister and brother. Survivors include his mother, Patricia Fitzko; a son, Michael Riggs of MO, 2 brothers, Alvie Fitzko of Blueifeld and David Riggs of Bluefield; a half-sister, Melissa Fitzko Worley, of NC; and girlfriend, Mary Punturi. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 10:30 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Mac Riggins officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday prior to services, from 9:30-10:30, at the funeral home.
