Ronald Edward (Ronnie) Comer, 62, was welcomed into his Father’s loving arms on December 9, 2018.
Born on July 9, 1956, he was a son of Vivian Comer of Bluefield and the late Edward Comer.
He and his loving wife, Donna Kinder, were married for 40 years and they have 2 incredible children, Shannon and Jessica Comer.
Ronnie always had a smile that would light up a room and he never met a person he wouldn’t hold out a hand to help. He was an avid race fan as well as a jack of all trades, master of some.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife Donna; his son Shannon and wife Amanda; and a truly beloved granddaughter Maeley; daughter, Jessica wife Erin with 4 loving grandchildren; loving mother, Vivian; Brothers Rick and wife Kim, Shawn and wife Marsha; Sister Pat and husband Rick; Sister in law, Linda Comer Bowling and a host of cousins and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Saturday December 15 at 1:00 PM at the Thomspon Chapel on John Nash Blvd. in Bluefield with Rev. Randy Sargent and Rev. Dave Damewood officiating. Friends may call at the church from 12:00-1:00.
There will also be a celebration of Ronnie’s life at the Mountaineer Bowling Lanes on Cumberland Road in Bluefield on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 3:00. We would like to invite everyone to come and share their special memories of Ronnie, The Man, The Myth, The Legend, with us.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cravens-Shires Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
