Roger Lane Workman

Roger Lane Workman, 76, of Nemours, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Charleston Area Medical Center.

Born on September 21, 1941 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Robert and Martha Farthing Workman. He had been a resident of Nemours for all of his life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors include:
Wife of 40 years: Orie Stevenson Workman of the home

4 daughters:      Catherine (Kevin) Martin of Nemours

                                Jennifer (Duane) Crawford of Nemours

                                Patricia Workman of the home

                                Lisa (Frankie) Littleton of Princeton

14 grandchildren

Brother:               Fred (Natalie) Workman of Merritt Island, FL

Sister:   Nancy Ward of Cleveland, TN

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 3:00PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Dewayne Belcher officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Sunday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
