Robin June Thompson

Robin June Thompson, age 64, of Fairlawn Avenue (Brushfork) Bluefield, WV went to be with the LORD on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on October 25, 1954, in Bluefield, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Melvin and Joan Ratliff Bailey.  She had been a lifelong resident of Mercer County. She was a retired Pharmacy Tech and was a member of the Deliverance Temple Church in Brushfork. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Her husband of 45 years, James R. (Randy) Thompson of the home

Daughter: Nicole Lawson and husband Jeff of Bluefield, WV

Brother: Barry Bailey and wife Valerie of Rock, WV

Sister: Lorna Jones and husband Robert of Rock, WV

2 grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Madison and Alyssa Lawson

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. David Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens on the Bluefield-Tazewell Road. Her family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.
