Robin Leigh Gallinger

On the morning of January 22, 2022, Robin Leigh Gallinger, 57, or Bluefield, VA, went to be with her heavenly father. She was surrounded by her loving family in her own home. Robin worked at Bluefield Hematology Oncology for 27 years. She loved her job and co-workers dearly. Robin coached basketball, loved watching sports and cherished her time and adventures with her family and grand dogs.

Born on July 9, 1964, in Bluefield she was a daughter of Roger and Joy Faw Belcher. She was a lifelong resident of Bluefield, and a 1982 graduate of Montcalm High School was of the Protestant faith.

Preceding Robin in death are maternal grandparents, Virginia and Tam Faw and paternal grandparents Lewis and Naomi Belcher.

Those left to cherish Robin’s memories are her husband, Mark Gallinger, of the home; daughters, Chelsea Gallinger and fiancé Hunter Broyles of Bluefield, VA and Emaleigh Goins and husband Cody of Huntington, WV; twin brother Roger Belcher and wife Debbie of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister Pam Louthen and husband Eddie of Princeton, WV; grand-dogs, Copper, Ruger, Bella, and Marlo, and several nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

We will miss you forever and love you always Mom. Our lives will not be the same without you, but because of you they are better.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Lambert officiating. The Gallinger family will receive friends and relatives from 1:00 until time of service. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memory Gardens where Chad Louthen, Seth Belcher, Eddie Louthen, Cody Goins, Hunter Broyles, and John Faw will serve as pallbearers.
